HGL’s own network and staff lie at the core of our business, but we’re continually developing our worldwide partner network to ensure we remain strategically positioned to support our customers with end-to-end global logistics solutions.

Our carefully selected partners enhance our core strengths, providing local market knowledge and highly specialised expertise, which allows us to provide our customers with a comprehensive range of logistics services. We have established strong relationships with commercial airlines to facilitate the cost-effective transport of time-critical air freight items. Similarly, we collaborate closely with the major shipping lines to ensure our ocean freight service perfectly meets the needs of our customers.

Maintaining relationships

Our aim has always been to create long-standing strategic relationships, which provide an opportunity to deliver a truly seamless global solution. We’ve entered into partnerships with local specialist agents and carriers to better serve domestic clients, as well as international businesses operating locally.

We have established offices in New Zealand, the UK and China to maintain a permanent presence at these key points in the supply chain, offering a primary entry point into the Asian markets and a gateway between Australasia and the rest of the world.

We, and many of our international partners, are members of a few selective strategic global networks. This provides us with a forum to meet annually in order to develop and strengthen relationships, and to strategise with new and existing partners in emerging territories.
